Exams & Results

At the end of the course, you will sit an exam to assess your knowledge and practical skills. The exam is held in the classroom, and results are issued immediately after completion, so you’ll know right away if you have passed.

What you get at the end of the course?

Upon successful completion, you will receive a Level 2 CCTV Operator (Public Space Surveillance) Qualification, which is a legal requirement to apply for an SIA Licence. With this qualification and licence, you can apply for roles in:

  • Security control rooms
  • Retail and commercial premises
  • Public space surveillance
  • Event security
What happens when you pass?

Once you have successfully passed the course, you will need to apply for your SIA CCTV Operator Licence to legally work in the industry. You must apply for the licence yourself through the Security Industry Authority (SIA).

  • Discount: If you already hold a Door Supervisor SIA Licence, you will only need to pay half the price (£92) for your CCTV Operator Licence.
